In this video we test the RBCD Total Fragmenting Soft-point 9mm with FBI grade ballistics gelatin.

RESULTS:
We found that the round immediately began expanding and fragmenting upon entering the block. Fragmentation completed at the 1.81" mark. The lead core continued penetrating the block until the 10" mark. After rotating three times the lead core split apart at the 10" mark. Within 2" the majority of the remaining lead core exited out of the left side of the block. A small fragment of the round continued through the entire block.

The ammunition seems to be an effective defensive round; however, we would like to test the ammunition with a shorter barrel. The loss in velocity that would be cause by a short barrel may significantly decrease the rounds performance.
